Biography

Abdias Misael Ramirez Mendez worked at the NGO “Cactus Project” Jalapa, Guatemala, holding the position of Health and Nutrition Educator. He then worked as Assistant in the environmental monitoring group at the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, on the HAPIN trial, a multi-country randomized trial of a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cookstove intervention which investigated household air pollution and its impact on health. He is a technician in laboratory and environmental education for ECOLECTIVOS.

Fun Fact: Misael is passionate about football. He has won several championships and has received several medals and trophies.
