Biography

Alexander Ramirez has a background in programming surveys and data collection methods through tools such as REDCap, Open Data Kit, and Open Clinica, and in data analysis with R, Stata and georeferencing systems such as ESRI, Oracle Spatial, and Qgis. He has worked on environmental health projects for 7 years at Universidad del Valle in Guatemala. He is the IT developer and data analyst for ECOLECTIVOS.

Fun fact: Alex really enjoys playing piano or guitar, which he has been doing since he was 9 years old. It relaxes and distracts him. In recent years, he has delved into the genre of Jazz.
