Maria Renee Lopez, MsC, has worked on research projects for more than 15 years, on public and environmental health issues. She is a co-investigator at the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala and serves as program manager of ECOLECTIVOS. 

Fun fact: She really likes to read, especially books by her favorite author, Robin Cook! She has read all of his books by him and they are amazing!
