Introduction Plastics: Health risks and environmental problems

This chapter explains the design of the book, which was developed for the training of environmental educators and people interested in the subject of plastics. It is organized into eight units that address the subject of plastics as a health risk and an environmental problem, especially when some inappropriate practices are carried out, such as burning them; a practice that is expected to be eradicated through a variety of information and some reflection activities.
